- Born and raised in Louisville, KY.
- In 1993 I graduated from Vanderbilt University with a BA in English and a Communications minor.
- From 1993-1998 I managed all aspects of numerous national, regional and local advertising accounts while working as an account executive and then account supervisor for AB Studios, Inc. and The Buntin Group - award-winning, regional advertising agencies in Nashville, TN. Clients included Best Products Co., First American National Bank, Lava Soap, Goody's Headache Powder, Aladdin Industries, Corn Silk Make-Up and Nashville Ballet.
- For the past twelve years I have served as vice president of marketing and sales for a Louisville land developer working on residential and commercial developments. My job includes selling homesites to builders and homeowners and creating and implementing all marketing campaigns for our developments. I have worked with the Home Builders Association of Louisville (HBAL) throughout three Homearama events at our subdivisions, and have coordinated with both builders and homeowners at all stages of construction and homeownership.
- In 2001 I was approved as an Associate Builder with HBAL and earned 88 hours of education toward this certification
- From 1998-2003, I served on the sales and marketing, advertising and public relations committees for HBAL and was the chairman of the Public Relations Committee from 2001-2003.
- Currently, I am on the Board of Directors as Communications Director for the Younger Woman's Club of Louisville.
- I am also a full-time mom of two beautiful children, ages 3 and 6, and am actively involved with the Walden Parent Association where my daughter attends school.
